This site sets a single cookie. I do not use advertising, marketing, social media, or tracking cookies, and I do not use cookies to build a profile of you.

The cookie contains only a random identifier, not your name, email address, or any other personal details. It is marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it, and SameSite=Lax, so it is not sent along with requests from other websites. It is a strictly necessary cookie, so it is set without asking for consent.
I use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that I host myself. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal information. It counts page views, referring sites, and general device and browser types in aggregate so I can see which pages are useful. That data stays on my own server and is never shared or sold.
When you buy a license, you are sent to Stripe Checkout to complete your payment. Stripe may set its own cookies on its own website to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are covered by Stripe's cookie policy, not this one.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (see your browser's help pages for how to do this). Browsing this site works without the session cookie, but site notices may reappear on every page, and the license support portal will not keep you signed in.
